Obituary of Eunice Bonita "Bonnie" Ratcliffe
Age 92, of Caro, died Friday, October 7, 2022. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services, with Pastor Tommie Lee Ratcliffe to officiate. Bonnie’s family will be present to receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be considered to Shriner’s Memorial Hospital, with envelopes available at the funeral home. Bonnie was born December 20, 1929, in Peach Orchard, Arkansas, the daughter of Harry and Edith McIvloy. Bonnie graduated from Delapane High school with the class of 1948. On February 5, 1949, Bonnie married the love of her life, Thomas Ratcliffe, and their union would be blessed with two children. Bonnie was a dedicated GM employee for over 30 years, until her retirement in 1986. In her free time, Bonnie loved to raise hibiscus flowers in her garden. Bonnie was very involved with the Shriner’s mini-cars, and attended and participated in parades all over the state of Michigan. Bonnie will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish Bonnie’s memory are her children, Tommie, and wife Kim, Tony, and partner Dawn; grandchildren, Tiffani and husband Aaron Michalski, Christina and husband Bryan Knowles, Trisha Ratcliffe and partner Justin Vandeberghe, Gregory and wife, Sue Ratcliffe, Thomas and wife, Bre Ratcliffe, Brett Ratcliffe; great-grandchildren Paige, Austin, Addison, Christofer, Brookelynn, Braelynn, Wyatt and Aubrielle, Benjamin, Aliyah.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sister, Betty.
