David was born in Flint on November 2, 1955, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvey and Evelyn (Hall) Ethridge. David was raised and educated in Genesee County. Growing up he loved being outdoors, enjoyed climbing trees, he was a very adventurous child. Every summer the family drove to Missouri to visit family. He loved listening to music, rock and roll, and Bob Seager. He enjoyed watching all kinds of movies. David was a talker, known for being on the phone. He called his cousin, Ivy, and other family members daily, to check on them and just chat. David enjoyed the outdoors whether it was working on bikes or cars. In his free time, he loved playing Bingo and going to the lake to relax while fishing. David was a member of First United Methodist Church of Mt. Morris and at Christian Love Faith Center in Flint where he often helped Pastor Tim Hicks around the church. David was also a member of the 12 Step Program and proud of his two years of sobriety. David always made everyone laugh, he had a big heart and will be missed by those who knew him.
