Ann was born in Midland on July 14, 1936, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew and Elizabeth (Peppler) Dyer. Educated locally, Ann graduated from Clio High School with the Class of 1975.  Ann met and married her first husband, John Marshall on November 3, 1956, at St. Mary Catholic Church. Sadly, he preceded her in death on March 4, 1997. After a few years’ time, Ann met and married her second husband James O’Brien, on July 5, 2001. Sadly, he preceded her in death on May 7, 2008. Ann was a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Church and belonged to the Altar Society and St. Jude Guild. She was a Eucharistic Minister at Mass to the homebound. She felt very passionate about helping others and she had a servant’s heart. Ann was a hospice volunteer as well and would sit with people that were on their deathbed, to bring them comfort and the peace of knowing they were not alone. Ann was an avid shopper, with her favorite stores being Sam’s Club and Wal-Mart. She also enjoyed traveling all over the United States and has visited all 50 states. Traveling with her family to Gulf Shores and on camping trips was memorable to Ann, but her favorite trip of all time was when she went to Ireland. That was a trip she will never forget. Ann was a people person and loved visiting with her neighbors and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful mom, grandma, and great-grandma and will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish Ann’s memory are her daughters: Vonda Wilson, Virginia Serven, Catherine Littell, Sue Ann Moore, Donna Boring; stepchildren: Michael and wife, Collette O'Brien, Tom O'Brien, Bill O'Brien, Joan Sordyl, John O'Brien; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters: Ellen, Darlene and husband, Dick, Kathleen; brother-in-law, Lou Bryan and several nieces, nephews, and relatives.

Ann was preceded in death by her first husband, John Marshall, second husband, James O'Brien, parents; her sisters, Jane and Nadine; son-in-law, James Littell.
