Obituary of Shelby Marie Gage
Age 33, of Flint, died Tuesday, July 13, 2021, in Hurley Medical Center. In accordance with Shelby’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Shelby was born in West Branch, Michigan on April 17, 1988, the daughter of Rodney Butler and Heather (Kierpaul). Lucynski. Growing up Shelby was very active, she enjoyed playing basketball, rollerblading, and doing the high jump on the track and field team. After high school Shelby went on to college, she was also working as a waitress when not in class. Shelby enjoyed spending time with her family, she loved the get-togethers and good times they always had. Shelby always liked kids and when she became a mom, she focused her life around her children. She loved spending time with them, watching cartoons, coloring, playing outside, and just being with them. In her free time, Shelby enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and hanging out with friends. Shelby loved to express herself through music.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Samuel Vyner, Shaelyn Vyner, Gunnar Gage, Trinquility Rye and, Legendary Rye; her mother: Heather and stepfather, Brian Lucynski; father: Rodney Butler and significant other Alice Seger; sisters: Shawna Butler, Brianna Lucynski, Caitlin Lucynski; brother: Jasik Lucynski; grandparents: Corrine and husband Doug Gildner, Judy Lucynski, and Irene Millard; many aunts, uncles and, cousins.
Shelby was preceded in death by her great grandmother: Mary Karafa; her maternal grandfather: Joseph Kierpaul; paternal grandfather: Harvey Millard; her grandfather: Floyd Lucynski; sister: Amber Lucynski.
