Age 69, of Mt. Morris, died Thursday, June 17, 2021, at home. In accordance with Edward’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery will be held at a later date. Condolences may be shared with the family on Edward's tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com.

 

Edward was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 4, 1951, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie J. and Irene M. (Gasper) Vizkelety. Raised and educated in Michigan before heeding the call to serve his country. Edward enlisted into the United States Army. Upon his return to civilian life, Edward went on to attend Lawrence Technological University. After graduation, Edward began his career in manufacturing, working as a CMM Operator. Later in life, Edward met and fell in love with Anne Bottrell, the two were united in marriage. Edward enjoyed fishing, watching sci-fi movies, and working on computers. Edward and Anne loved going on road trips across the country. Most of all, Edward loved his dogs, he was often seen taking them on walks and playing in the park.

 

Left to cherish his memory are his wife: Anne Manley-Vizkelety; sons: Shawn Vizkelety and Kevin Vixkelety; step-sons: Johnathan Makela and Jeffery Makela.
