Age 95, of Flint, died Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at Gross Assisted Living, with her family by her side. A graveside service will take place at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, 9506 N. Dort Highway, Mt. Morris, with burial to follow. Mary was born on March 25, 1925, in Omena, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence and Mary (Selodick) Houdek. She was raised and educated in Northern Michigan. Mary would move to Detroit before moving to Flint to work for General Motors, Ternstedt, as an automotive producer for 36 years. In her free time, Mary enjoyed gardening and planting many different flower beds in her yard; she also loved to crochet and travel post-retirement. During her life, Mary was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to four children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary was a member of the UAW # 326 and the Auto City Eagles # 3485.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters: Paulette Parison, Mary and husband Timothy Mcguire; one son, Merlin Parisot; two grandsons: Tyler Jewell, Ivan Bland; two granddaughters: Kelly Bland and Diana; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Danny Parisot.
