Obituary of Matthew Martin Card
Age 34, died suddenly, at his home, Sunday, February 16, 2020, surrounded by his family. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm, Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. The family will be present at the funeral home to receive guests on Saturday, from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Matt was born on February 17, 1985, in Flint. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey and Sharon (Passmore) Card. Known for being the life of every party, Matt was a tall, gentle giant, with a heart of gold. Matt had a great sense of humor and immense love for his family. In his free time, he could be found hunting or fishing off the dock in his back yard, which was located on the Rifle River State Park, attending concerts of all genres with his family, tubing, swimming and playing video games. Matt will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Left to cherish Matt's memory are his father, Jeffrey; sister, Stephanie Kelley; brother, Aaron Mohler; nieces: Katlynn, Kathleen, and Lea; great-nephew, Jakson; and many other aunts, uncles, and relatives.
Matt was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon; sister, Samantha; brother, Joshua; and several other family members.
