Obituary of Scott Allen Holbin
Age 56, of Clio, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020. A funeral service will take place in his honor at 3:00 pm, Saturday, February 1, 2020. In accordance with Scott's wishes, cremation will take place. Scott's family will be present to receive friends at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Scott was born in Saginaw, on June 28, 1963, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Edward and Barbara Helen (Wilber) Holbin. Raised locally, Scott graduated from Clio High School with the Class of 1981. He married the love of his life, Tracy Simpson, on June 23, 1990, at Calvary Church of Christ in Swartz Creek. Their marriage was blessed with three children. Over the years, Scott worked to build and establish his own business, Scott A. Holbin Builder. Located in Clio, Scott was a well-known residential builder. Hunting, fishing, and camping were just a few of Scott's hobbies. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Scott enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels, knives, and guns. He was also an avid rummager and enjoyed going to garage sales.
Left to cherish his memory are, his wife, Tracy; three children: Troy and wife, Jodie Holbin, Nathan Holbin, and Tyler Holbin; two grandchildren: Aubrie and Ethan; one brother, Edward, and wife, Ann Holbin; and many nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents.
