Obituary of Duane Palmer
Age 66, of Flint, died, Monday, November 18, 2019, at his home. In accordance with Duane’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Life Celebration will take place at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 23, 2019, at J.J. Lang’s, G 5412 Dort Highway, Flint. Duane was born on March 28, 1953, in Flint, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee and Helen (Potter) Palmer. He worked for the City of Flint for 25 years. Duane visited his mother every day for “coffee time” and enjoyed helping her around the house. He loved to work on cars and spend time with his beloved family. His spirit was a bright light that will be missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Helen Palmer; sister: Carol Fritz; brothers: David Palmer, and Jeff Palmer, biological daughter, Joy; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Palmer; brother, Rick Palmer; and sister, Linda Wales.
