Obituary of Linda May Barko

Age 64, of Clio, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019, at her home. In accordance with Linda's wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, November 21, 2019, at the Fountain-Grace Assembly of God - 2382 E. Mt. Morris Rd., Mt. Morris; Pastor Dean Gardner will officiate. Linda's family will be present at church to receive visitors on Thursday, from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions through Linda's tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com to Reverence Home Health & Hospice. 

 

Linda was born in Flint, on May 30, 1955, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis and Betty (Foster) Barko. Educated locally, Linda graduated from Central High School in Flint with the class of 1973. After graduating, Linda attended Baker College, graduating from Mott Community College with a degree in Social Work. In her free time, Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and she was an avid reader. 

   

Left to cherish her memory are her son, James Barko; step-father Randall Sorensen; and special friendRose Rankin.                                                       

 

Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
