Obituary of Timothy James Coykendall
Timothy James Coykendall, age 69, of Mount Morris, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019, at his home. In accordance with Timothy’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place 1:00 pm, Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at the Community Church of God in Clio.
He was born in Flint, Michigan on November 7, 1949, the son of Floyd and Evelyn (McGinn) Coykendall. Timothy worked for General Motors as a lineman for over 30 years before his retirment. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting. watching the detroit Red Wings and wresteling, and going to heavy metal concerts. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his three children: David Coykendall, Sara Coykendall and boyfriend, Dan Geeting, and Steven Coykendall; five grandchildren: Matthew Carpenter, Tammy Carpenter, Desmond Jackman, Kaytlin Jackman and Taylor Nikle; one great-granddaughter: Aryia Granger; four siblings: Debrah Coykendall, Clinton and wife, Debra Coykendall, Robin Coykendall and Julie Coykendall; and nephew Alexander Coykendall.
Timothy was preceded in death by his parents.
