Obituary of Carolyn Elaine Gotts
Of Clio, age 77, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at her home. The funeral service will take place 3:00 pm, Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Private burial will take place in Gunnels Cemetery. Carolyn’s family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again on Saturday from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 3:00 pm. Memorial contributions can be made to to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Carolyn was born June 5, 1941, in Clio, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund and Helen (Monroe) Rose. She and Donald were united in marriage on December 21, 1981, in Flint, Michigan. Carolyn worked at home raising three children. In her free time, she enjoyed spending her time at home, wrestling, feeding the birds and squirrels, and watching NASCAR. She will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish her memory, two children: Carol Hatt and husband William Herriman, Dale and wife Kimberly Hatt; 18 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and two siblings: Reah, and Michael.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her Husband, Donald, parents, daughter, Linda Sue Hatt, and three brothers, Dave Rose, Edmund Lee Rose and Gordon Rose.
