Obituary of Barbara Forsyth
Age 87, died Friday, May 11, 2018, at Wellsprings Lutheran Services in Frankenmuth. A funeral service will take place Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at 11:00 am at Martin Funeral Home in Vassar. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 9:30 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
Barbara was born on April 2, 1931, in Flint, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Ward and Georgia (Ralston) Wilcox. Barbara was a loving mother throughout her adult life. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, sewing, writing poetry, and gardening. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her four children: Connie (Ken) Wells, Cheri (Dennis) Mills, Merry (Randy) Johnson, and Norman Forsyth; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Ward and Georgia; and son Brian Forsyth.
