Obituary of Dennis James Dolan

Age 70, died Monday, February 19, 2018, at Parkside House Assisted Living in Mt. Morris, Michigan. Mass of Christian burial will take place 11:00 am, Thursday, February 22, 2018, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Roy Horning will officiate with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 9:30 am until mass at 11:00 am. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. 

Envelopes are available at the church.

 

Dennis was born June 27, 1947, in Flint, Michigan. He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Francis and Marian (Purcell) Dolan. In his free time, Dennis enjoyed listening and dancing to music and spending time with his family. Dennis was 100% Irish. He loved receiving hugs and a well-cooked meal. He will be greatly missed.

 

Left to cherish his memory; three sisters: Sister Madeleine Dolan, Jean and husband Harold Smith and Lori Ann Dolan. Nieces and nephews: Linda and husband Mark Leigh, Brian and wife Elena Smith, Christine DeVeaux, Courtney and husband Brad Moore, Mikayla Smith, Patrick Smith, Sean Leigh, Nicholas Leigh and Kelly Leigh.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

 

The family wishes to thank those who helped with Dennis’ care throughout his life.
