Obituary of Andrea L. Tess
Andrea L. Tess, age 46, of Mt. Morris, died Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Hurley Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Friday, September 1, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Morris. Pastor Shelly Long and Pastor Suzanne Walls will officiate with burial to follow at Brookside Cemetery in Fairgrove at 3:00 pm. Andrea’s family will be present to receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris on Thursday, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. On Thursday evening, family and friends will gather for a Job’s Daughters Memorial Service at 7:00 pm. On Friday morning, Andrea will be taken to the church to lie in state from 10:00 am until the time of her service at 11:00 am. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the Lake Huron Retreat Center for God’s Treasures Camp Scholarships. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church.
Andrea was born February 28, 1971, in Flint, she is the daughter of the Mr. and Mrs. Anthony John and Alanna (Laverty) Tess. Sadly, Andrea was preceded in death by her father.
Left to cherish her memory: mother, Alanna (Tony Hill) Tess; two sisters: Alicia Arthur, and AmyJo (Jason) Langdon; niece, Corynn Arthur; nephew, Jacob Langdon; two aunts: Karen Anderson, and Patricia (Lynn) Wolfgram; and several cousins.
Andrea was preceded in death by her father, and many family pets.
