Obituary of Elizabeth Raab

Of Mt. Morris, age 80, died Monday, August 11, 2014, at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11:00 am, Thursday, August 14, 2014, at Heritage United Church-Christ in Davison. Reverend James Offrink will officiate with burial to follow in Meadowview Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Memorial contributions may be directed to Heritage United Church-Christ envelopes will be available at the church. Elizabeth was born December 21, 1933 in Budapest, Hungary the daughter of John and Barbara Tomsik. She and Joseph Raab were united in marriage on November 5, 1955. She was an active member at the church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, but most of all she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandson. Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Eva and husband, James Puppan, and Barbara Raab; son, Leslie Raab and wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Krisztina and husband, Eric Wilhelm, Katalin and husband, Jeremy Hughes and Leslie Raab; great grandson, Dominic Hughes and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Barbara Tomsik; son, Joseph Raab and brother, John Tomsik.
