Obituary of Lenora L. Rivett

Of Mt. Morris, age 85, died Saturday, August 19, 2006 at Riverbend Nursing Home in Grand Blanc. Lenoraas funeral service will take place 1:00pm, Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Erwin Saultman will officiate with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Lenoraas family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 9:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. \ \ Mrs. Rivett was born March 31, 1921 in Morgantown, West Virginia the daughter of Miss Sadie Casteel and Mr. Gordon Whitehair. She married Frank Rivett who preceded her in death May 29, 1982. Lenora worked at AC Spark Plug for 29 years as a press operator retiring in March of 1972. She was a member of the United Brethren in Christ Church in Mt. Morris and the UAW Local #651. \ \ Surviving are her daughter Janet and husband Don Olson, 7 grandchildren, Kelly and husband Russ Rudland of Holland, Kathie Manett of Grand Rapids, Kristy and husband Ed OaMara of Lake Odessa, David Washburn and fiancA Shawn of Flushing, Seann and husband Bob Rensick of Swartz Creek, Brian and wife Karen Olson of Springfield, Ohio, and Jeannine and husband Bill Goddison of Fort Meyers, Florida 14 great-grandchildren and many cousins. \ \ Mrs. Rivett was preceded in death by her mother, Sadie VanTimmeren, father, Gordon Whitehair, daughter Corrine Washburn November 30, 1990 and son Jimmy Madden May 19, 1989
