Of Vassar age 69 died Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at his residence. Ernest was born September 7, 1937 in Vassar, the son of Ernest R. and Amie (Tinglan) Gohsman. He and Emily Sahr were united in marriage November 29, 1958 in Vassar; she preceded him in death April 14, 1976. Ernest worked at Saginaw Steering Gear for 31 years and was a member of UAW Local 699.\

Surviving are daughter Kay Lynn Teper and husband Boris of Farmington Hills,\
Very special friend Judy Nordquist of Vassar,\
Special friends Jennifer and husband Kent Eastlick and their children of West Branch, and Jeffrey and wife Althea Nordquist and their children of Brazil.\
Brother Roger and wife Nancy Gohsman of Keystone, S.D,\
7 nieces and 1 nephew\

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Emily, and sister Janet Fredrickson.\

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon Friday, November 10, 2006 at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar with Reverend John Becker officiating. Ernestas family will be present to receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home Friday from 11am until time of service at 12 noon. Private burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be considered to the First Presbyterian Church of Vassar or Heartland Hospice.\
