William Richter

Of Fort Myers, Florida and Mt. Morris, age 91, died Friday, November 8, 2013, at Hope Hospice. William was born February 14, 1922. Visitation and Funeral Service will be Friday, November 15, 2013, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Pastor David Burkett will officiate, with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park with Military Honors. Rick served in World War II in the Pacific area and on his return married Irene Vitany, of Birch Run on May 11, 1946. Later they had a son Edward James Richter. Rick was a successful businessman in the Flint and Mt. Morris area for many years, but on contracting the disease Guillian-Barre, made Florida his home. He is survived by his wife, Irene and sisters, Vivian C Smith and Barbara (Jerry) Lawrence, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Donna and son, Edward.
