William Dowell

Age 27, of Birch Run, formerly of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017, at his home. The funeral service will be held 2:30 pm Sunday, October 22, 2017, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 11:00 am until time of service. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to Clio Center for the Arts, Inc. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. William was born December 9, 1989, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Cheryl Griffith and Patrick Dowell. William was known for his huge heart and willingness to help others. He enjoyed playing video games, listening to music, tattoos, Halloween and spending time with his family. Left to cherish his memory are his mother: Cheryl Griffith; father: Patrick and wife, Mary Dowell; sisters: Heather and husband, Jim Atkinson and Emily Dowell; nieces and nephews: Jacob, Jace, Vanessa, Gabriel, Daisy May and Naiyah; many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carol Taylor and Richard Cannoy.
