Age 62, of Flint, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Hurley Medical Center. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. William Wesley Anthony was born on September 5, 1962, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. David and Beverly (Richardson) Anthony. Educated locally, Bill graduated from Kearsley High School, Class of 1980. After graduation, Bill heeded his call to duty by enlisting in the United States Air Force on October 7, 1981 until his honorable discharge on January 6, 1987. During his time in the service, Sergeant Anthony worked as a Munitions Systems Specialist and obtained many achievements, including the Air Force Achievement Medal, AF Good Conduct Medal, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, AF Training Ribbon, and the AF Longevity Service Medal.
He would meet, fall in love with, and marry the love of his life, Kelly Rene Robideaux on May 20, 2000 in Davison, Michigan. Bill worked in management for many years before his retirement in 2020. He reformed his faith and was baptized in October of 2024, often attending sermons at Family Community Church of the Nazarene in Goodrich, Michigan. In his free time, Bill loved bass fishing, playing chess and other various board games, and spending as much time as he could in nature. Most of all, Bill enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, to whom he cherished deeply.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife and loving partner of 37 years; Kelly Anthony; his children: Crystal Esqueda, Les Peters, Candice Anthony, Krystal Anthony, Ashley and husband, Ray Olson; his grandchildren: Jaime, Ariel, Jasmine, Adin, Nathaniel, Angelica, Camille, Jared, Makenna, Audrianna, Ryleigh, Xander; his great-granddaughter: Sofia; his parents: David and Beverly Anthony; his siblings: Steve and wife, Kathy Anthony, Dawn and husband, Gary Steele; his nieces and nephews: Heather, Jason, Nicole, David, Olivia; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his son: Stan Eizak; his grandparents; as well as many cherished aunts and uncles.
