Warren Luck

Of Mt. Morris, age 85, died Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Avalon Hospice. The funeral service will take place at 1:00pm, Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Morris. Pastor Mike Sanders will officiate with Graveside Military Honors to follow in Flint Memorial Park. WarrenAaas family will be present on Friday at Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris to receive friends from 1:00pm until 9:00pm. On Saturday Warren will be taken to church to lie in state from 10:00am until time of service at 1:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Warren was born October 11, 1924 in Flint, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. John and Lela (Brown) Luck. He and Coralyn met on a blind date, and dated for six months before getting married. Warren and Coralyn were married for 49.5 years. Coralyn preceded him in death on October 23, 1998. Warren proudly served in the United States Navy as a Radioman Second Class until receiving his Honorable Discharge on February 26, 1946. Warren worked for General Motors for 33 years before retiring. He was a member of UAW Local #581. Warren enjoyed spending time with his family, going on vacation, bowling and photography. Warren leaves to cherish his memory, four children, Sharon and husband Frank Campbell, David and wife Kathleen Luck, Pamela Lee and Tim Carver, Nathan Luck and Jane Painter, 9 grandchildren; Deanna (John) VanPatten, Michelle Moore, Ben Lee, Luke (Amber) Lee, Lindy (Terri) Moore, Stephen (Mandy) Campbell, Sean (Susan) Campbell, Karrie (Randy) Painter, John Painter; 13 great-grandchildren; Connor, Ava, Jackson, Madison, Nicholas, Zachary, Mariah, Duane, Emma, Anthony, Hadlee, Jeremiah, Mason; brother, Orville Luck; two sisters, Marilyn (Bud) Varner, Florence, "special lady friend" Mary Houghtaling; several nieces, nephews and friends. WarrenAaas family would like to thank Avalon Hospice for all the thoughtfulness and care they gave to him. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Coralyn, brother, Harold (Cleo) Luck, grandson, Scott Campbell, sister-in-law, Jackie Luck.
