Wanda was born in Beecher on September 21, 1931, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence and Beatrice (Kirkpatrick) Tobias. Educated locally, she attended Beecher High School and graduated with the Class of 1949. Wanda met and married the love of her life, Donald Brink, on November 6, 1951. Their union was blessed with seven children. Sadly, he preceded her in death on April 29, 1991. Wanda was an avid reader and enjoyed any and every kind of book she could get her hands on. Wanda had a love for her family that surpassed anything on this earth. They all knew that if they needed anything, they could always count on Grandma for advice a place to stay, or anything else they needed. She loved all children, big and small, and loved to have them around at all times, she didn’t even mind the noise. Wanda was a great storyteller, and her family would listen intently to the next story she had for them. She also enjoyed flowers and had several varieties in her yard, with her favorite color being green. In her free time, she enjoyed listening to Country music and dancing. She will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish Wanda's memory are her children: Diane Lambert, Charles Brink and wife, Deb Carr, Thomas and wife, Marta Brink, Roxanne and husband, Merel Miller, Beth and husband, Bill Miller; 19 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Annetta Tobias; several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; children: Julie Ann Pollock, Donald Roy Brink, Jr.; siblings: Darrell Tobias, Adella Wildman, Jean DeDomincis, Joann Corlew, Robert Tobias, Leo Tobias, Betty Redman, Mona Beach; grandchildren: Charles Stanley Brink, Autumn Ables, Roxanna Brink, Brian Miller; great-great-grandson, Maliki Kern-Smith; special friend, James Rupright.
