Vivian Rau

Of Lupton, age 86, died Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Briarwood Manor. The funeral service will take place 2:00pm, Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Rev. Harold Polk will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00pm until 8:00pm. Then on Saturday from 11:00am until time of service at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial contribution to a Hospice Center of your choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Vivian was born November 22, 1922 in Alpena, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William and Katheryn (Aris) Town. She and Norman were united in marriage on September 14, 1946. She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, William (Connie) of Otisville and Richard of Flint, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Heartland Hospice. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Norman and her sister.
