Virginia Halleck

Of Mt. Morris, age 86, died Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Friday, February 12, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Dale Lewis will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home on Thursday from 1:00pm to 8:00pm, and on Friday from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Memorial contributions may be made to the North Flushing Baptist Church. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Virginia was born May 25, 1923 in Wheeler, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry and Mary (Redman) Mayle. She and Lewis Halleck were united in marriage June 1, 1945 in Flint, Michigan. Virginia leaves to cherish her memory, three children, Beth Halleck, Wayne and wife Debbie Halleck, and Linda and husband Bruce Minnich, six grandchildren, Diana and husband Rodney Moye, David and wife Rebecca Halleck, Daniel and wife Amy Halleck, Benjamin Minnich, Adam and wife Jennifer Minnich, and Sarah and husband Joshua Cox, nine great grandchildren, brothers and sisters in law Donna Halleck, Howard and wife Joyce Halleck, and Norman and wife Barbara Halleck, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lewis, 4 sisters and 4 brothers.
