Of Holiday, Florida, formerly from Mt. Morris and St. Helen, Michigan, age 102, died Monday, April 8, 2013 at Angelica's Place, in Romeo, Michigan. Family will receive friends at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris Friday April 12, 2013 from 1:00 pm to the time of funeral service at 3:00 pm and continue after the service until 5:00 pm with cremation to follow. A memorial mass will take place at a later date. Victoria was born December 15, 1910 in Huron County, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Martha (Ulfig) Puvalowski. She and Steven Wrubel were united in marriage on September 28, 1929, in Ubly, Michigan. Victoria was a member of St. Vincent DePaul in Florida, she was also a member of The Daughters of Isabella for 25 years. She enjoyed dancing with the love of her life Steven for 83 years. They belonged to the Polish American Club in Holiday, Florida. She loved to travel with her husband going on multiple cruises all over the world and spent her free time playing Pinochle and Euchre. She loved visting with family and friends all over the United States especially Michigan, Arizona, Florida, and California. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Steven, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family and friends. Victoria was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Stella Kozfkay, Blanche Rubel, Anna Gwisdella-Pasterveaki, Minnie Maurer, Gertrude Wrubel, and Beatrice Chilva.
