Vernon Wilson

Vernon Henry Wilson, age 84, of Fairgrove, died Sunday, November 6, 2016. A memorial service will take place on January 8, 2017, at the Peace River Clubhouse in Punta Gorda, Florida. Mr. Wilson was born November 28, 1931, in Elkton, Michigan, to the late Mr. & Mrs. Obed and Ossa (Morrell (Weral)) Wilson. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, vacationing in Mio, Michigan and Florida. Vernon was a member of Gem Club of Bay City, where he enjoyed making jewelry. He was also a classic car enthusiast. Left to cherish his memory are his: brother, Gerald Wilson; step-son, Jeff Priestly; three grandchildren: Heath, Allison, and Jennifer; nine great-grandchildren; step-daughter-in-law, Kathy; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife Marlene, step-son Dennis, and granddaughter Heather.
