Verna Pepitone

Pepitone, Verna Mae age 71 of Mt. Morris died Friday, February 16, 2007 at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich. Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 11:00am at the Miles Martin Funeral Home, Pastor Clifford Bira officiating, and burial in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Vernaas family will be present to receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Monday from 11:00am to 4:00pm, and 5:00pm to 9:00pm, and on Tuesday from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Memorial donations may be considered to the Genesys Hospice Care Center, envelopes are available at the funeral home. Verna was born March 2, 1935 in Mt. Morris the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vern and Nellie (Viers) Roth. She and Peter Pepitone were united in marriage on March 20, 1953 in Mt. Morris. She was employed at Perry Printing for 20 years, retiring in 1979. Verna leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 53 years Peter, 2 children Jackie Pepitone, and Jeffrey Pepitone and girl friend Christi Turner, 2 grandchildren Owen Bailey and Kaleigh Marie Pepitone, 2 sisters Betty Sies, and Dorothy Rumsey, and her special friend Kim Bailey. Verna was preceded in death by her parents, and Sister Patsy Roth.
