Vella Harris

Of Lynchburg, TN, formerly of Saginaw County died Monday, January 23, 2006 at Harton Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 27, 2006 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home, Pastor Daniel Gordon officiating, burial in Flint Memorial Park. Beeas family will be present to receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00PM to 9:00PM, and on Friday from 10:00AM until the time of service at 1:00PM. Bee was born February 19, 1924 in Rector, Arkansas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George and Sarah (Higgins) Garrison. She and Willard Harris were united in marriage June 21, 1946 in Paragould, Arkansas. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Bee leaves to cherish her memory Son David and wife Delilah Harris of Tennessee, son Wayne and wife Edith Harris of Tennessee, daughter Judy and husband Dennis Koepplinger of Brant, son Steven and wife Jaculyn Harris of Chesaning, son Phillip and wife Kelly Harris of Florida, son Leslie Harris of Kentucky, and son Charlie and wife Nita Harris of St. Charles, 19 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren. Bee was preceded in death by her parents, husband Willard, and daughter in law Tonya.
