Vance Payer

Vance Patrick Payer, age 29, of Mt. Morris, passed away at home with his family by his side. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2025, 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. In accordance with Vance’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Vance was born in Flint, on December 3, 1995, he is the son of Mr. Patrick Payer and Mrs. MaryEllen Fedchenko. Educated locally, Vance graduated with honors from Clio High School with the class of 2014. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends at The Machine Shop, Banana 101, and the Electric Chair Tattoo in Clio. He had a quick witty personality, could light up a room and made an impact on everyone he met. Vance also enjoyed spending time with family, playing video games, watching WWE wrestling, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Detroit Red Wings.

Left to cherish his memory are his mom, MaryEllen Fedchenko; dad, Patrick Payer; stepdad, Joe Fedchenko; grandparents: MaryLou Martin, Steve and Terry Payer, and Marilyn Fedchenko; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and special friends: Linzy Mitchell, Dennis Hill.

Vance was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jack Martin, and Richard Fedchenko, and his great-grandma, Ruth Bond.
