Timothy Daniel Sanders

Age 81, of Clio, died November 12, 2022, at Medilodge of Montrose with his family by his side. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Clio Assembly of God, 305 New Street, Clio, with Pastor Garret Starr to officiate. Tim’s family will present to receive friends from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Martin Funeral Cremation, & Tribute Services, at 1194 E. Mt. Morris Road. Tim was born in Flint, on August 27, 1941, to Mr. and Mrs. Gerald and Beatrice (Laird) Sanders. Educated locally, Tim graduated from Northern Flint High School. After graduation, Tim worked at AC Delphi from 1964 until his retirement in 1993. He was owner and operator of The Car Haulers for 41 years. In his free time, Tim loved to work on cars and tell corny jokes. His pride and joy was his 1947 Chevy. Tim made friends so easily, and he was quick to say a kind word. He was a warm and loving person, and will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Carol, three daughters, Cherri, Tammy and husband, Jeff, Pam and husband, Todd; his sister Rebecca and her husband David Donnelly, his special grandson, Danny, seven more loving grandchildren, and his best four-legged friend, Huey.

Tim was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Sanders.
