Tim Wylie

Age 66, died on February 29, 2024, at home with his family by his side. In accordance with Tim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later time. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Tim’s tribute wall at martinfuneralhome.com.

Tim was born in Flint on January 9, 1958, the son of Ms. Margaret Wylie. Educated locally, Tim attended Beecher High School, graduating with the Class of 1976. He began his career at General Motors as a lineman until his retirement. Tim enjoyed fishing in Oscoda on the Au Sable River and was an avid U of M football fan and never missed a game. Spending time with his family especially his grandchildren was one of his favorite pastimes. When he was in school, Tim enjoyed golfing and was very good at it. He also enjoyed reading Steven King novels and listening to Rock-n-Roll.

Left to cherish Tim’s memory are his daughter, Jennifer Wylie; grandchildren: Arianna, Adalyn; sister, Terry and husband, James Haines; nieces and nephews: Tiffany, Michael, Lucas and wife, Eva, Sarah; many great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Wylie; gram, Eldora Apperley.
