Age 45 of Mt. Morris, died Friday, September 28, 2007 at Hurley Medical Center, Flint. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM at the Colonial Hills Baptist Church, Mt. Morris \ Tuesday, October 2, 2007 with Pastor Doug Klein officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM and 5:00 PM-9:00 PM Monday, October 1, 2007 at Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Thomas was born October 8, 1961 in Flint, Michigan, to Delwin and Shirley Berry. He graduated from Clio High School in 1979. Tom married his high school sweetheart, Debra Andres, on February 14, 1981. He was a wonderful father to Joseph Thomas (19). Tom was employed as an Operations Manager at the Civic Arena for Bay County Parks and Recreation. He spent much of his life supporting Joe's Hockey teams and coaching Clio High School's Hockey team from 2004-2006. He loved hockey and began playing at age 8. He played for Clio High School and began coaching after graduation. Tom coached hockey for 18 years including Lake Fenton, Grand Blanc and Clio High Schools, plus many travel teams. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed his Mattis Hunt Club yearly trips and restoring muscle cars. He is survived by his wife Debra, son Joseph, parents Delwin and Shirley Berry, father and mother-in-law, Tom and Sarah Andres, sister Pamela (Brian) Mosher, nephew, Nick Starr, sisters-in-law, Lori (Rob) Holderby and Denise (Gary) Campbell. Also nieces Ashley, Heather and Amanda. Tom was a fabulous husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He was a friend to everyone who crossed his path in life. In lieu of flowers, his family is requesting donations be made to Joseph Berry's college education.\ \
