Teresa Ann Sanborn

Age 53, of Mt. Morris, died Wednesday, February 14, 2024. In accordance with Teresa’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There are no further services scheduled at this time. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Teresa’s tribute wall at martinfuneralhome.com.

Teresa was born in Flint on March 13, 1970, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence and Mary (Horning) Alexander. Educated locally, Teresa graduated from Michigan School for the Deaf in 1988. Due to her love for teaching and helping children, Teresa became a houseparent at the Michigan School for the Deaf. Teresa loved to read as well as craft, paint, and complete crossword puzzles. She could often be found watching her favorite soap operas, Days of Our Lives and Beverly Hills 90210. Teresa was an avid collector of Coca-Cola items and penguins. In her younger years, she was a cheerleader in high school. Teresa loved to sing and enjoyed music as well as she loved dogs and was a great cook.

Left to cherish Teresa's memory is her daughter, Brittany Sanborn; mother, Mary Helsel; grandchildren: Jorden, Amiyah, Davion; and several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Alexander; brother, Lawrence "Larry" Alexander, Jr.
