Sharon Kay (Lary) Watts Age 68, of Mt. Morris, died Sunday, November 6, 2016, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Clio. Pastor Darrel Manning will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Sharon’s family will receive friends at Martin Funeral, Cremation, and Tribute Services- Mt. Morris, on Friday, November 11, 2016, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again on Saturday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Sharon was born July 21, 1948, in Grayling, Michigan, to Mr. & Mrs. Nicholas and Katherine (Nichols) Lary. She attended Beecher schools, graduating with the class of 1966. Sharon graduated from the Flint Police Academy before working for General Motors as an assembly worker. Sharon was a member of the Red Hats, Veterans of Foreign Wars post #8236 ladies auxiliary, and UAW Local #599. She was an avid animal lover and volunteered her time at the Genesee County Animal Control. She liked to spend her time at the casinos and vacationing in Grayling, Michigan. She would also vacation in Florida, where she would visit her favorite gypsy horse farm. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles Watts Sr.; three children: Charles Watts Jr. and partner, Trace Derosia, Louis and wife, Rita Watts, Aric Watts and husband, Robert; grandchildren: Kayela, and Miranda Derosia; brother: Gordon and wife, Janice Nichols; sister: Rose Mary Mullin; sister in law: Wanda Lewis; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, William Lewis, and Joseph Lary and sister, Mary Lou Giffel. Family would like to extend a special thank you to nieces, Rosie and Laura for their caring hospitality to Sharon.
