Sharon Robinson

Age 79, of Flint, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020, at Hurley Medical Center with her family by her side. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris, with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Sharon's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm. Sharon was born in Flint, on February 5, 1941, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo and Leona (Hemstreet) Marcou. Sharon married the love of her life, Norman, on July 10, 1964. Sadly, Norman preceded her in death on November 5, 1998. Sharon worked as a housekeeper for Flint Osteopathic Hospital until 1960; from there she would continue her career at Genesys Reginal Medical Center, retiring in 1987. In her free time, Sharon loved spending time with her family and friends, crocheting, reading, fishing, and vacationing in Florida. She also liked watching football and was an avid New England Patriots and Detroit Lions fan. Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Matthew Robinson, Dawn (Danny) Luttrull, and Jennifer Joslyn; three grandchildren: Jared, William, and Lola; great-granddaughter, Skye; brother, Richard (Helen) Marcou; sister, Beverly West; and many other family members and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman; granddaughter, Chelsea Nicole Robinson; and three siblings.
