Sharon Owen

Sharon Marie Owen, age 59, of Flushing, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint. The funeral celebrating Sharon’s life will take place 10:00 am, Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park. Sharon’s family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Friday, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the charity of your choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Sharon was born November 29, 1958, in ­­­Royal Oak, Michigan to Mr. & Mrs. John and Patsy (Middleditch) Gartrell, Jr. Sharon worked for her family at the auto dealership. In her free time, she enjoyed camping, cooking, going to Cedar Point every summer, cleaning and keeping organized, and going out for dinner. She is at peace and will be greatly missed. Sharon leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Patsy and husband, Don Williamson; daughter: Sabrina and husband Jason Boston; three grandchildren: Lexi, Izzy, Melanie; three brothers; John Gartrell, Scott and Michael Williamson; one sister; Deanna Williamson; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by father, John; sister, Lisa Alexander; brother, Richard Williamson; and many other family members.
