Ruth Tilton

Age 67 formerly of Mt. Morris died Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Crestmont Nursing Home of Fenton. The funeral service will be held Wednesday September 30, 2015 at 11:00 am at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Genesee Twp. Pastor Chad Short will officiate, with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday September 29, 2015, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Wednesday September 30, 2015, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Those desiring may consider memorial contribution to the family. Ruth was born November 8, 1947 in Wilton, Maine, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William and Luna (Welch) Tilton. She was a graduate of Beecher High School in 1966. Ruth was a quiet and loving woman to many. She enjoyed country music and watching her favorite TV shows. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her brothers; James and wife Norma Tilton; William Tilton and girlfriend Joyce; and Paul Tilton. Nieces Christina; Jennifer; Wilma, Nephew James. Many great nieces and nephews and close friends Ester Hippensteel and Anna May. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents.
