Ruth Prince

Age 66, of Flint, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019. In accordance with Ruth's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held in Ruth's honor on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at 5:00 pm, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services. Ruth's family will be present at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 12:00 noon until 4:00 pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Ruth was born in Grubbs, Arkansas, on July 21, 1952, she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Junior and Violet Louise (Gillespie) Prince. Ruth studied at Mott Community College where she earned her associate degree. She worked for Flint Community Schools until retiring in 2010. In her free time, Ruth loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren; going to the casino, shopping at Goodwill, and the Salvation Army with her friends. She also enjoyed traveling especially to Florida and antiquing. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Robert and wife, Krystal Prince; four grandchildren: Jacob, Joel, Nicholas, and Robert, Jr.; three siblings: Joe Prince, Vickie and husband, Bastian Morgan, and Janet and husband, Frank Santos; special friend, Lloyd Euper; and many other family members and friends. Ruth's family would like to extend a special thank you to Amy at Amy's Angles in Columbiaville for all the love and care she provided Ruth. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Kathy Latour.
