Ronald Lee Coultes

Age 73, of Clio, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Ascension Genesys. A graveside service will take place at 2:30 pm, Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Mussey Township Lutheran Cemetery in Capac, Michigan. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Ronald’s tribute wall at martinfuneralhome.com.

Ronald was born in Almont, Michigan, on July 18, 1950, the son of Mr. and Mrs.Freeman and the Helen (Heckman) Coultes. Educated locally, Ronald attended Capac High School and graduated with the Class of 1967. After graduation, Ronald continued his education, earning his associate degree. Ronald began his career in the automotive industry, working as a mechanic. He enjoyed working on and repairing cars. Ronald was a wonderful mechanic. Maintaining a nice kept yard, was a source of pride and joy for Ronald. He also had a beautiful vegetable garden, where he grew most of his own food. Ronald also enjoyed reading Western novels about the "old West" as well as watching Western movies in his free time.

Left to cherish Ronald’s memory are his niece, Tammy Parish; brother-in-law, Richard "Bump" Nelson, and longtime friend and caregiver, Annette Boozer.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and half-sister, Edwina “Jeri” Nelson.
