He worked as a relief man for 32 years at Fisher Body in Flint, was a member of UAW Local 598, retiring in 1978. After retirement, he worked for Dodds-Dumanois Funeral Home as a driver. He adored his wife and loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bob spent many years enjoying the outdoors and camping with his wife and family. In their retirement, he and Lorraine had regular movie and dinner dates, and took many road trips, often to the casinos. He also enjoyed long drives to nowhere in particular, music, dancing, working his crossword puzzles, a good joke and a nice cold beer.
