Of Clio, age 81, died Sunday, August 16, 2009 at BrianAaas House Hospice-Davison. The funeral service will take place 1:00pm, Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park with Military Honors conducted by the American Legion Post #158. BobAaas family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Wednesday from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to American Lung Society, American Diabetes Association or BrianAaas House Hospice-Davison. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Bob was born September 28, 1927 in Clio, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James and Pearl (Collis) McIntosh. He and Betty J. Neahusan were united in marriage on April 9, 1949. She preceded him in death on December 26, 2006. Bob served in the United States Navy as a Seaman First Class and was Honorably Discharged on August 13, 1946. He served as a Deputy for Genesee County SheriffAaas Department until 1967 and then was a member of Fisher Body Plant Protection, where he retired in 1986. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Sherry and husband, Douglas Chapman; six grandchildren, Douglas AaA"DJAaA and wife, Annette Chapman, Kim and husband, Chris Abeare, Robert McIntosh, Jennifer and husband, Paul Kelsey, Rochelle McIntosh, and Sara Platz; six great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Camryn, Hailey, Shane, Raymond, Bradley; sister, Ethel AaA"Jen.AaA He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Pearl; wife, Betty; sons, Robert, Thomas, and Ronald; five brothers, Walter, Russell AaA"John,AaA Theodore, William, and Roy AaA"JayAaA; three sisters, Lillian, Eva, and Isabelle.
