Robert Heideman

Of Flint, age 87, died Sunday, March 24, 2013, at his home. Cremation has taken place. Robert was born October 11, 1925, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. August and Arabell (King) Heideman. He and Dorothy Marie Garty were united in marriage August 28, 1948. Robert worked at Fisher body for over 31 years before retiring March 31, 1976. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing and playing guitar. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 years Dorothy; three children, Linda (John) Ishmael, Susan Barber and Sharon Eads; two grandchildren, Jerry and Jacob; four great-grandchildren, Alysha, Jordan, Andrew and Brittan; and one great-great-grandchild, Kaiden.
