Robert Foster

Of Caro, age 64, died Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Aleda E. Lutz, VA Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 3:00 pm, Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at the Martin Funeral Home - Fairgrove. Jack Foster and Doug Foster will officiate with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery, with graveside Military Honors. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 1:00 pm until time of service at 3:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Cass River Bible Church. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Robert was born July 27, 1948, in Caro, Michigan, the son of Robert and Gladys (Boughan) Murgaw. He was preceded in death by father, Robert Murgaw; adoptive father, Donald Foster; and brother, Kim Foster. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, earning the Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Sharpshooter M-14 and 2 OS Bars. He enjoyed camping, crafting leather goods, and playing the guitar. Robert leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Gladys Foster; two brothers; Jack and wife, Kathy Foster, Douglas and wife, Diane Foster; several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends
