Age 83, of Mt Morris died Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Fostrian Nursing Home of Flushing. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, February 18, 2016, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Thomas Nenneau to officiate with burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services-Genesee Twp. and Thursday, from 10:00 am until time of mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Mr. Eid was born February 12, 1933, in Lebanon. He is the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Merei and Linda (Bishara) Eid. He was a history teacher at Beecher High School. He enjoyed reading, riding his bicycle around Mt. Morris, and watching nature. He is survived by his wife, Linda Eid; one son, Fouad Eid; two sisters: Muna Eid, Pireat Beyrouty; one brother, Dr. Vabih Eid; and many nieces, nephews, and friends from the USA, Canada, and Lebanon. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
