Rita Step

Of Clio, age 61, died Friday, May 8, 2009 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Monday, May 11, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00pm until 9:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to The American Lung Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Rita was born February 19, 1948 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie and Marie (Wall) Eldred. She worked at Flint Metal Fab for 20 years before retiring in 1987. Rita loved animals-- especially her dog, Caspian, painting ceramics and crocheting. Rita was the best mom that anyone could have ever asked for and will be missed every day, never forgotten and always loved. Rita leaves to cherish her memory son, Jason and her brother, James. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Clarence.
