Richard Meade

Of Lupton, age 56, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Bay Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 3:00pm, Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Brother Ed Flemming will officiate with burial to follow in Montrose Cemetery. Family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 2, 2010 from 10:00am until the time of service at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Richard was born July 7, 1954 in Flint, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy and Rhea (Rounds) Meade. He and Barbara Young were united in marriage in Bay City, Michigan. He was the prophet that wore tennis shoes and he truly walked in the steps of the Lord. He will be greatly missed. Rick leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Rhea; children, Annie, DeDe, Peggy, Jimmy, twin girls, Tina and Gina, and several other adopted children; sisters, Harriet and Bonnie; brother, Gary; many grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and wife, Barbara.
