Richard Harpham

Of Bradenton, Florida and Vassar, age 64 died at his residence in Bradenton, Florida. Cremation has taken place. Richard was born August 18, 1943, the son of Cecil Max and Margaret (Mc Creedy) Harpham in Saginaw. He was a 1962 graduate of Vassar High School. Richard proudly served his country in the US Navy and Marines as a medic during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Vassar First United Methodist Church. Surviving are his sister Diane (Charles) Parsell of Vassar and brother Charles J. (Nancy) Harpham of Vassar; aunt Maxine McKay of Tampa, Florida; nieces and nephews Charles J. Parsell, Leah (Matt) Erickson, Sarah Harpham and husband Frank Birchfield, and Catherine (Michael) Yard. Memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Sunday March 2, 2008 at the Vassar First United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Woodford officiating. Burial to be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery.
