Rebecca Goodman

Age 81, of Mt. Morris, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019, at home with her family by her side. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at the Martin Funeral Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Garfield Cooper officiating with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Becky's family will be present to receive guests at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm; and on Wednesday, from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Becky was born in Flint, on April 18, 1938, she is the daughter of the Mr. and Mrs. George and Blanch (Bowen) Lamrock. She married the love of her life, Richard Goodman on June 5, 1954, in Flint. Sadly, he preceded her in death on May 31, 2011. She worked as a Meat Wrapper for Hamady Bros. for over 30 years before retiring. She also had numerous rental houses throughout Genesee County. In her free time, Becky enjoyed listening to music and dancing. She was a long-time member of the Mt. Morris Church of Christ. Left to cherish her memory, son, Rickie Goodman; grandson, Dylan Goodman; two sisters: Katherine (Wayne) Nielsen, and Barb Stebbins; family & caregivers: Dee Franks, and Michele Sturgill-Norris; and many other family members and friends. Becky was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Richard.
