Ralph Clark Seeley, age 87, of Mt. Morris, passed away Monday, September 24, 2018, at his home. The funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, September 27, 2018, Martin Funeral, Cremation &Tribute Services of Mt. Morris. Pastor Laurie Jackson to officiate, with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Ralph's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital or to the Old Newsboys of Flint. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Ralph was born in Otisville, Michigan, on June 8, 1931, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred and Mary (Gardner) Seeley. He married Marlene on June 6, 1953, in Flint; she preceded him in death on March 26, 2002. He served in the United States Army from 1949 to 1953, during the Korean Conflict. Ralph worked for CSX Railroad for 32 years before retiring in 1996. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and carpentry. Ralph leaves to cherish his memory 9 children: Gloria and husband, Ed Cliber, Ralph and wife, Joann Seeley, Cathy and husband, Craig Peterson, Reine Seeley, Connie Mims, Fred Seeley, Michelle and husband, Rickey Cox, Mary and husband, Tim Mauer, and John and wife, Jennifer Seeley; 24 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Phil and wife, Betty Williams, sister, Mary and husband, Bob Smith; and many other family members and friends. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to McLaren Home Hospice.
